Professional Regulation Commission and the Board of Nursing release the official list of Nurse Licensure Examination passers, topnotchers and top performing schools on January 23, 2015 after the test was given on November 29-30, 2014. 2014 November Nursing Board Exam was taken by 26,690 aspiring nurses and only 15,292 were able to succeed.

PRC in aiming for 38 working days after the examination for the much anticipated result. Test takers and their families closely monitored for the result of the NLE.

November 2014 NLE was taken in various testing sites in the country such as Manila, Lucena, Baguio, Cubu, Tuguegarao, Tacloban and others. This year the BON who created the test is chaired by Carmencita M. Abaquin with six members: Perla G. Po, Marco Antonio C. Sto.Tomas, Leonila A. Faire, Yolanda C. Arugay, Betty F. Merritt, and Amelia B. Rosales.

The test took two days unlike other licensure examinations and consisted of five parts which are Basic Foundation of Nursing and Professional Nursing Practice, Community Health Nursing and Care of the Mother and Child, Care of Clients with Physiologic and Psychological Alternations - Part A, Care of Clients with Physiologic and Psychological Alternations - Part B, and Care of Clients with Physiologic and Psychological Alternations - Part C. To be able to pass, a nurse must have a total passing rate not lower than 75 percent with no subject lower than 60 percent.

The result of May 25- 26, 2014 NLE was two days earlier than PRC’s target date. With the holiday season fast approaching, test takers will have to celebrate the Christmas season with great anticipation as the release of result may come out on January.
