On the sixth night of The Voice of the Philippines Season 2 on November 16, 2014, an aspiring artist, Lougee Basabas braved the stage to make the coaches turn.

Basabas is not new to the music industry as she was part of KAYA, a pop singing group under Ryan Cayabyab. She then drifted to another genre and became a member of the band MOJO 5 where she met her boy friend who then joined the band after her.

Recently she teaches music, despite her job still in music, her passion for singing rekindles and becomes stronger, giving her a drive to try again her career. The voice asked his boy friend and band mates to surprise her and she hopped with happiness upon receiving the news.

Singing ‘Strong Enough’ by Sheryl Crow, she tries to get a spot to the next round. She looks forward to enjoy and sing her heart out on the stage.
