Wife of Camarines Norte Governor Edgardo Tallado had finally surfaced to tell her side of the story after her husband had reported her as missing and shared that she had went into hiding after she found a sex video of her husband and his alleged 28 year old mistress.

Josie Tallado went public and revealed her attempt to escape from her husband after he had placed her under ‘house arrest’ as also told by her lawyer Atty. Lorna Kapunan in a separate interview. Mrs. Tallado told in her television interview that the governor got angry at her after she had discovered his sex video. He had even accused her of uploading the video online.

Upon this incident, Katipunan disclosed that the governor took away all if his wife’s gadgets and cut off all the means of communication with anyone outside their house. She had no way of asking help and she ran away for fear of her life. She said that she does not feel safe in her own home anymore.

In an interview in Radyo Inquirer 990 AM, Katipunan also disclosed that Mrs. Talledo had met with her a week ago and they had first secured a temporary protection order from the barangay before getting out in media since it is only for 15 days. Mrs. Talledo was able to escape with her friend Darlene Francisco in a black Toyota Fortuner until they had reached Napolidan, Lupi town in Camarines Sur province.

From there, the rode a motorbike for two hours until they arrived to Naga City where she was able to acquire a second hand car to drive to Metro Manila. It is risky for them to fly in a plane.

On October 20, Camarines Norte Governor Edgardo Tallado had announced to media that her wife had gone missing together with her friend Francisco. He had tears on her eyes as he asked help to find his wife. References: abs-cbnnewsinquirer
