John Lloyd Cruz and Sarah Geronimo did not just earn praises for their movie “It Takes a Man and a Woman” but also grabbed acting awards presented to them at the 11th Golden Screen Awards under the Entertainment Press Society (ENPRESS Inc.) that was held on October 4. Their movie under the Star Cinema had been a box office and their characters became household names.

Singer-actress Sarah Geronimo took her time on ‘ASAP’to thank the ENPRESS for appreciating their acting in the said movie. She had expressed her gratitude and thanked the ENPRESS on behalf of those who hade made the film. The movie was also awarded with Best Motion Picture for Musical. 

Best Actress Award for Drama was shared by Rustica Carpio and Vilma Santos. Rustica Carpio was recognized in her movie “Ano ang Kulay ng mga Nakalimutang Pangarap” while Mayor V was awarded for her part in “Ekstra”. Joel Torre, a veteran actor in the entertainment industry proved that he still got the talent after he was awarded with Best Actor Award for Dram for “On The Job”.

The movie “Transit” also garnered quite a bagful of awards namely Best Motion Picture for Drama, Best Breakthrough Performance for male and female for Marc Justine Alvarez and Jasmine Smith, Best Direction for Hannah Espia, Best Original Screenplay by Giancarlo Abrahan, Best Cinematography given to Lyle Sacris and Ber Cruz, Best Editing by Benjamin Gonzales Tolentino and Hannah Espia, Best Production Design given to Tessa Tang, and Best Musical Score to Mon Espia.
