MEASURE FOR MEASURE/HAKBANG SA HAKBANG of Shakespeare on Dulaang UP’s 39th Season and Shakespeare's 450th Birth Anniversary

This is William Shakespeare’s best-known plays which will open Dulaang UP’s 39th season and Shakespeare’s 450th birth anniversary celebration. In the event, we will be able to witness Ron Capinding’s Filipino adaptation HakbangsaHakbangfeatured. Alexander Cortez is the director which is famous for handling Shakespearean plays like DUP’s Macbeth and Richard III. Everyone is invited to watch the said event which will run from August 20 to September 7, 2014 at the Wilfrido Ma. Guerrero Theater, 2nd floor Palma Hall, University of the Philippines Diliman. You will surely be amazed of how the plot was portrayed along with the players who did their best in order to master their crafts in acting on the stage.

Behind the scenes were the talents and skills of Gino Gonzales on costumes and accessories, Faust Peneyra for the set design, MelitonRoxas, Jr. for technical direction and lights,Jethro Joaquin for the sound and music design, Winter David in charge of the video, Dr. Judy Ick for the dramaturgy, and Erika Estacio for the assistant direction. These people comprise the artistic staff of the event.
