The Fault in Our Stars Novel and Movie Review

The Fault in Our Stars Plot: As it was mentioned above, the inspiration for the novel was a girl named Ester Earl who died at the age of 16. Looking at the life of the girl, we could say that it is short, yet Green found inspiration in writing a novel with such short but characterized as full life. Hazel Grace is the kind of teenage girl that when you look at is very normal. But despite of this, the reality is that she has cancer and lung failure. She met Augustus that caught her eyes and she shared Imperial Affliction to him. The two had an adventure in Amsterdam together. There is a twist in the story wherein the girl lives and the boy dies.

The Fault in Our Stars The Movie: The plot of the movie is the same as what is written above, only there are shortcuts in the movie. It was directed by Josh Boone and produced by Wyck Godfrey and Marty Bowen. The main casts of the movie are Shailene Woodley who played the role Hazel Grace Lancaster and Ansel Elgort who played August Waters. The movie has good casting and was distributed by 20th Century Fox. The release dates for the movie is on May 16, 2014 on Seattle International Film Festival and June 6, 2014 in US.
