If there is one Filipino boxer that has so many careers, it will be Manny Pacquiao. He is considered as the best boxer in Philippine history with all his achievements and victories but little did we know that Manny is more than a boxer, he is also a dedicated public servant. 

He was born on December 17, 1978 and is the first and only eight division champions with an amazing ten world titles. Manny has become an inspiration to Filipinos. His real name is Emmanuel Dapidran Pacquiao and is dubbed as Pac-Man, Ang Pambansang Kamao, The Mexicutioner, The Destroyer, Fighting Pride of the Philippines, Pambansang Ninong, The Fighting Congressman, and the Filipino Slugger. With all those names given to describe this fighter, we can say that Pacquiao really is someone.

Manny Pacquiao all throughout his boxing career has fought the greatest fighters of Mexico and other countries. Some of his opponents were Morales, Marquez, Margarito, Diaz, Cotto, Clottey, De la Hoya, Bradley and many more.  Manny as what I have said is more than just a boxing for he is also a celebrity, recording artist and politician. In fact he has a famous hit entitled “Para Sayo ang Laban na To” that truly captured the hearts of the Filipinos as they remember each and every fight of this great fighter. His mother “Nanay Dionisia” is also a showbiz sensation. Manny is married to Jinky Pacquiao.

One of Manny’s controversial issues aside from the bashing of Floyd Mayweather Jr. on social media is the alleged BIR tax wherein he clashed with BIR Commissioner Kim Henares.  Investigation was done to verify if Pacquiao settled his tax. The whole world is looking forward to Pacquiao – Mayweather fight and until now it is still undecided. Pacquiao said that Mayweather has so many excuses not to fight him.
