The 1st contender is Angeline Antonio Rosales who is a Business Administration graduate. She is a HIV counselor and an outreach worker. The next contestant is Maria Eloisa Manalili who took up legal Management. She is a dean’s lister in college and dreams of becoming a lawyer and politician.
Last but not the least is Ashley Sarmiento Gemina who studied Information technology. She is hoping of owning a salon and is currently a hairstylist.
The hosts first reminded the contenders to check their buzzers and were advice to give 3 phrases before answering. When the 1st question was asked about water, Angeline immediately gave the exact answer to advance in the next round.
On the other hand, the remaining contestants struggled to guess the correct answer for the preceding questions. For the 5th question, Eloisa finally gave the right answer and got the final slot while Ashley is eliminated.
Angeline is called and her question says; if an eggplant is small, will it be called tashort? She answered that it is not possible because an eggplant has its name on whatever size it is. Eloisa is the next one to be called and her question says; if a cat loses its 9 lives, will it also have a 9 day novena?
She responded that it is their right to be remembered because even if it is just an animal, it became significant to their owner’s life. Based on their answers, the judges chose contestant no. 2 to go head to head with the reigning queen.

Eloisa and Zoren are going to answer the question that says; in schools, does a student who has the highest grade the most intelligent? The daily winner said that being smart doesn’t necessarily base on your grades but rather your perseverance to finish your studies is the most important.
On the other hand, the defending winner stated that the one who is successful after graduation is the most significant because it means that he or she applied all the learning’s in life that they grasp in school. After a deliberation, Zoren is now a semi-finalist and will defend her crown tomorrow.
