Eat Bulaga host and actor Paolo Ballesteros surprised everyone at the red carpet of 29th Tokyo International Film Festival yesterday when he transformed into Hollywood actress and humanitarian Angelina Jolie. While posing for the cameras, he kept a straight face to stay in character. This is not the first time he copied the American actress as he previously transformed himself as “Maleficient” last July.

Known for his amazing make-up skills in social media, he can copy the faces of many celebrities such as Kim Kardashian, Gigi Hadid, Marian Rivera, Pia Wurtzbach and many more. Because of his talent, he was dubbed as the “King of Transformation” and was even recognized by the international media. He posted the photos on his social media account and called himself as Angelina Magdangal wearing a glitzy gown by Rau Uson-Ablaza. He also called out the fans of his noontime show to support him. The 33-year old actor who played a leading role on the film “Die Beautiful” was accompanied by Award- Winning Director Jun Lana and producer Ferdinand Lapuz.

The film “Die Beautiful” with a tagline “A glamorous life deserves a fabulous death” will compete at the prestigious film festival for the main category out of 16 films from 98 countries. According to the synopsis of the film, it is a story of Trisha, who is a transgender woman that makes a living as a beauty pageant contestant but unexpectedly dies while being crowned.

Before her death, her last wish was to be introduced as a different celebrity every night of her wake however, Trisha’s dad wanted her to be buried as a man.  Her friends had no choice but to steal her body and hold a wake in a secret place. While Trisha is transformed into various celebrities, they look back at her extraordinary life. Die Beautiful is currently screened at the event until November 3.
