PNP Arrested 2 Ecstasy Dealers: It's not what they Expected
They were caught handling 10 heart shaped ecstacy pills to their client, who is a police disguising as a customer. Chief Inspector  Robert Razon, a head of anti-illegal drugs special task group, stated on his interview that the two suspects were well-dressed and they are the ones you won’t expect to become drug dealers. Ong is from Brgy. Immaculate Conception while Songco came from Brgy. Holy Spirit.

The two were known as targets by the police since the surveillance entrapment 2 weeks ago with a help from an informant. When Songco and Ong were caught, the business partners no longer resisted their arrest.

According to a report by NCRPO Director Joel Pagdilao, he revealed that the ecstasies cost Php 1500 each from the police who bought and disguise as the suspect’s client. Each ecstacy were separated in a group of 3’s, 4’s, and 5’s.

Aside from the ecstasies, they also got 55 other kinds of tablets on Songco and Ong’s possession where he believed that the two had other transactions apart from them. To sum it all, the overall price of the ecstasy pills is worth Php 97,500. Pagdilao will also check if Songco and Ong had previous criminal records. Razon also believe that the two were relying on their drug supplier.

According to the informant, the two were also known in selling party drugs to concertgoers and parties. The two were still in shock on their arrest and they are now detained at the Taguig’s NCRPO Headquarters who will face a case of Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
