Good news to all Pinoy English teachers who are seeking greener pastures abroad.  Japan will be hiring more Filipino English teachers according to Philippines’ envoy to Japan, Ambassador Manuel Lopez. In an announcement given last June 02, 2015, Ambassador Lopez said “The Japanese people admires the skill of Filipino teachers in teaching English, and they believe that they will benefit a lot from the mastery of the English language from them.” Filipinos are known to be better English speakers than its Asian counterparts, that is why for the last 15 years, Philippines has been a hub for BPO industries and now KPO (Knowledge Process Outsourcing).

Japan is Hiring Job for Filipino English Teacher and Seafarers
Japans’ IT industry is on a streak and English is the only remedy to sustain their growth for better communication with its American and European counterparts. This great tiding for most underemployed teachers will also be shared by Filipino Seamen whose skill and passion is recognized by a lot of Japanese Shipping firms. “Most of the Japanese shipping companies employ Filipinos which makes up the 75% of their total employees. They admire the discipline and professionalism of Filipino seafarers.” Ambassador Lopez said.
