A Thai national is gaining the attention of netizens after he had called Filipinos with derogatory remarks, even using ‘Pignoys’ to describe Filipinos. His posts in social media had gone viral that even a British citizen called foul against it and defended the Filipinos.

As it turned out, the Thai national goes by the name Koko Narak, but his real name is Kosin Prasertsri. The 32 year old Thai is working in Cognizant Philippines and is currently staying in BGC Taguig City. Despite working in the Philippines for three years already, he seemed to have negative opinions with the Filipinos in general. Though he did not specified, he seemed to have had negative experiences among Filipinos.

In some of his posts, he called Filipinos as cockroaches and Pignoys. He even said that Filipinos are not fit to work in an office, but should rather work as toilet lickers. He had even posted insults in various Facebook pages. The Thai seemed not to care on whoever reads the posts. With too much insults, British national, Malcolm Conlan could not help himself but step in to defend the Filipinos.

In his open letter. Conlan admitted that he was shocked with Prasertsri posts about the Philippines. Conlan wrote Filipinos actually work around the globe as engineers, doctors, airline pilots, senior managers and many more. Even the so called maids by Prasertsri are actually professionals with their work and treat their employers like part of their family.

Conlan said that Filipinos are professional and caring, that even if the Thai himself gets sick and meets a Filipino, the Filipino will surely take care of him. Conlan acknowledges Prasertsri’s freedom to express himself but spreading hate must not be included. He politely asked him to take down the racists group pages the Thai had put up and warned him that he will report him to the Thai police if he will not do so.

Filipino netizens expressed their gratitude to Conlan for speaking up against the racist comments.
