The Voice of the Philippines Season 2 once more closed the voting lines on February 1, 2015. The votes of the viewers will give the golden ticket to an artist to safely get into the next round while another artist will be chosen by their coach filling in the top 4 spot for each group.

Jolina Magdangal opened the show with the mash up of “All About That Bass’ and ‘Beautiful Girls’, together with the second batch of Live Shows contenders.

The second batch of Team Bamboo graced the stage of Resorts World Manila together one last time. Rence Rapanot sung ‘Malayo Pa and Umaga’ to shared his hardship in life. Lea shared that he was impressive. Bamboo thanked Lea for the compliment for Rence and he told his artist to always show who he really is. Arnee Hidalgo made a different twist with ‘Crazy In Love’ by Beyonce. Bamboo said that the intensity and hunger to win the competition had been felt. Tanya hopes that as she sings ‘Natural Woman’, people will enjoy her music. Bamboo shared that the tenderness in her voice and her vulnerability made her special.

With 49.8 percent of total votes,Tanya is moving forward in the competition. Bamboo thanked his artists for sharing their talents. Bamboo decided to save Rence Rapanot because of his authenticity and his ability to connect with the people. Bamboo shared that Rence was able to connect with him during his performance. Arnee, the R and B artist will not continue to the next round of the competition.

Team Bamboo’s Top 4 is now complete with Rence Rapanot, Tanya, Rita Martinez and Kai Honasan to fight for the next rounds of the The Voice of the Philippines Season 2.
