Team Bamboo’s Kai Honasan, Rita Martinez, Rence Rapanot, and Tanya Diaz are all out in battle to stay as the team’s Top 3 in The Voice of the Philippines Season 2 on February 8, 2015. The new mechanics also gave a new twist in the competition.

In the new sets of rules, the voting lines are opened right after the fourth artist finished his or her performance and will also be closed right after the commercial break. The result of the votes are revealed before the show ends. The coach then chooses one artist out of the two remaining ones.

The Voice of the Philippines Season 2 Live Show Voting and Eliminating Team Bamboo Part 1 February 8, 2015
Rita Martinez is a proud lesbian and shared her experiences. She wanted to be an inspiration to everyone to be proud of themselves and show who they really are. Singing ‘Sweet Dreams’, she dedicated her performance to her family and friends who had always been supporting her and her dreams. Her song is also her way to share that she can reach her dreams no matter what and despite the challenges. Apl opined that she did an entertaining piece. She had been better than the last performances. Bamboo said that she had been too cool, relaxed and calm. She seemed to be just gliding on stage- too cool for school.
