Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) is now accepting applications for the 2015 Licensure Exam for Teachers (LET) that will be held on March 29, 2015, Sunday. PRC encouraged applicants for the licensure examination to file before the set deadline.

LET is usually conducted every March and September. The set deadline of filing for the March 29, 2015 LET will be on January 23, 2015 for repeaters. Those who are taking the test for the first time must file their applications until January 30, 2015.

The second LET for 2015 will be on September 27, 2015. Those who want to take LET in this schedule will have to file until July 31, 2015 for repeaters and August 7, 2015 for first timers.

The first time applicants must bring their original and photocopy of Transcript of Records. The TOR must bear your colored photo and a “For Board Examination Purposes” remark. Bring original and photocopy of Birth Certificate issued by the NSO. If married, you must also bring your original and photocopy of Marriage Certificate issued by the NSO. Other requirements are 3 pieces of recent passport-size pictures in plain white background with a complete nametag including the middle initial, cedula or  Community Tax Certificate for the current year, documentary stamp, window envelope with postage stamp and a fee of Php 900.

For repeaters, bring at least one of the following: Report of Ratings, Notice of Admission, or Official Receipt of the previous examination. Other requirements are 3 pieces of recent passport-size pictures in plain white background with a complete nametag including the middle initial, cedula or  Community Tax Certificate for the current year, documentary stamp, window envelope with postage stamp and a fee of Php 900.

Though applicants are advised to submit their application through  Online Application System (OAS) at PRC's website, you must still go to the area’s PRC office where you intend to take the test and personally submit your requirements.
