Four websites of Globe Telecommunications were hacked by a group of hacktivist named “Blood Security Hackers” leaving a message complaining to their poor service on internet connection last Thursday November 27, 2014. The websites includes mybusinessglobe.com.ph, payroll.globe-csme.com, duoiternational.globe-csme.com, and update.globe-csme.com. Blood Security Hackers is a Group of Hacktivists formulated since 2012 according to their Facebook Page. They inform people about their activities on the said Facebook page. And after Globe Websites, they hacked several websites not only in the Philippines but also in other countries.

According to Coorms, the poor internet service of Globe Telecommunication is not the main complaint of their customers. The said company has limitations which affects the customers internet surfing experience like data capping that is stated  in Globe Telecommunication’s fair policy where the customer’s uploads and downloads are being measured, there is a limited amount of data that can be downloaded and uploaded is given,  if the customer exceeds,  he/she will  be experiencing slow internet connection. Customers also complain about throttling which also limits the uploads and downloads of a user. As stated in Wikipedia, It may reduce crashing but it may lead to gaining additional revenues.

Websites of Globe Telecom Hacked by Group of Hacktivist named Blood Security Hackers
An interview from Yoly Castillo, Head saying that the hacked websites are used only for advertising and their customer’s personal information are not stored on the said website. They also added that Globe’s internal customer system is not connected to the saved websites and their hosted sites are still secured.

The said websites are still inaccessible. However according to statement, the issue is being addressed they took down the said websites to see the problems immediately. They are currently conducting investigations and forensics.
