Mecerdita Quiachon is a nineteen year old girl from Bohol who aspires to be a singer together with her sister Liezle Mae. The sister both got in the Blind Auditions as Luis delivered the invitations to them in person. Luis surprised the sisters by singing Daniel Padilla’s song.
They shared that though they are often rivals in singing competitions, cheer each other and expressed her pride over the achievement of the other. They are both driven by the love of the family and how they had wanted a better life.
Mecerdita humbly walked up the stage and sung ‘Listen’. Apl De Ap hits the red button right before the last note ended. She was relieved to be able to pass the Blind Auditions with Apl De Ap as her coach.
Lea explained that there were three singers who were able to execute the song, namely Beyonce, Charice Pempengco and Darren Espanto who was the runner up for The Voice Kids Edition. She added that the song was delivered perfectly well by the singers because of the over flowing emotions which the artist on the stage lacks.
Bamboo said lack of emotion is her weakness to which Lea agreed.
Apl De Ap enjoyed her courage and accepted the other coaches’ observations. Apl promised to help her improve and teach her how to put her emotions to songs.
