Before Liza Soberano had been the tagged ‘leading lady to watch for’ of Kapamilya’s Forevermore, she had a contract signed with the rival GMA network. However, a week after she had signed the contract with the Kapuso Network with her real name Hope, she opted to prematurely end her ties with them.

She shared that she actually auditioned for ABS-CBN’ Star Magic and GMA Artist Center at the same time and the Kapuso was the first to offer her a contract. After she had signed the first contract offered to her, Star Magic gave her a call for her break in ‘Forevermore where she is currently teaming up with Enrique Gil.

Reason Why Liza Soberano Left Gma7 for 'Forevermore' of ABS-CBN
Even though GMA-7 had already gave her a line up of projects, she did not hesitate to sing the contract offered by Kapamilya Network. She explained that she simply did not feel at home in GMA and thought that she would rather work in an environment she felt happy with. She clarified that she did not have any bad relations with anybody in GMA, she just thought that she felt more at ease in ABS-CBN since she grew up mostly watching ABS.

It was in March 2013 when Soberano was launched as one of the newly discovered stars of Star Magic together with Janella Salvador, Jane Oineza, Julia Barretto and other. She had appeared on screen as Jake Cuenca’s younger sister in ‘Kung Ako'y Iiwan Mo’, then played as the third wheel between Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo in ‘Must Be Love’ and ‘Got to Believe’.

Now she has her turn to shine as plays the key role in ABS’ primetime drama ‘Forevermore’ soon she will have other big screen shot in ‘The Bet’ with Enrique Gil to be in cinemas under Star Cinema on 2015. She is grateful for the opportunity and promised to work harder. Reference: abs
