Valerie Clacio Weigmann of Camarines Sur has been crowned as Miss World Philippines 2014 in Mall of Asia Arena last October 12, Sunday. Out of 25 other contestants who had joined in the competition, Valerie Clacio Weigmann was the one who took home the crown and the title.

At 5-foot-9, she stunned both the people and judges and won their hearts as she bagged six of the 11 other prices given earlier in the in the program. Some of the prices she took home are Best in Long Gown and Best in Swimsuit.

The newly crowned queen from Bicol gathered claps from the audience with her winning answer in the question and answer portion as she was asked why she should be crowned as the next Miss World Philippines. Full of confidence, she answered that she would try to live a life n relation to others through putting herself in the shoes of others. She shared her belief in empathy and compassion. She also added that everyone can all be advocates of change and she further encouraged people to take up a personal advocacy.

Valerie Clacio Weigmann Crowned as Miss World Philippines 2014

Miss World Philippines 2014 Valerie Clacio Weigmann will represent our country in 2014 Miss World beauty pageant that will be held on December 14, 2014 in London.

Weigmann had joined the reality TV show Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition in the year 2008 where the big winner was Ejay Falcon. She also appeared in some TV advertisements, hosted the Kapuso noontime variety show Eat Bulaga and graced the cover of Rogue Magazine’s magazine June 2013 issue.

Lorraine Kendrickson was also crowned as the 1st Princess, Nelda Ibe as the 2nd Princess, Nicole Donesa as 3rd Princess and Rachel Peters as 4th Princess.
