Manny Pacquiao, the world known Filipino boxing champion, voiced out his belief that Floyd Mayweather Jr. is scared of losing his undefeated record. He thinks that Mayweather may not be afraid of him, but he is afraid of tarnishing his prided record of 46 wins and 0 loss.
For the past years, people had been dreaming of a fight between Pacquiao and Mayweather, but due to different issues, the watch is never realized until now. Also, for a long time, the two camps had always been ‘jeering’ at each other.
It can be remembered that in 2012, Mayweather accused Pacquiao of drug abuse. Then recently, boxing fans accuse Mayweather of evading opponents that may be hard for him to fight.
Now, Manny Pacquiao says that Mayweather’s record might no be legit. He said that if Mayweather calls himself undefeated champion, then he must defeat the best. That is the real way to be called the champion.
Mayweather is dubbed as the highest paid athlete, he had fought champions like Ricky Hatton, Oscar De La Hoya , and Jose Luis Castillo, but his recent games had made his reputation questionable.
When asked if he would be given a chance, the boxing champ with the record of 56 win, 5 loss, and 2 draws, said that he knows how to give Mayweather a hard fight because he knows his fighting style. He called him uneducated because he just talks so much. Pacquiao called him a bad example, while he prided that he knows that to be a winner, a boxer must know how to punch.
If these two champions would fight in a boxing ring, experts expect a full house and a sold out arena. As of now, Floyd Mayweather Jr is yet to answer. Reference: Gma news
