Lee did not accept any interview but gave two words for Navarro, he said, ‘It’s Showtime’. Cedric Lee and Simeon Raz, Jr were finally able to post bail of Php 500,000 each to temporarily get out of Taguig City Jail yesterday, September 16 a few minutes before 6pm in connection with the case of serious illegal detention filed against them and Deniece Cornejo by Vhong Navarro.

Both of the bailed accused left the Taguig Regional Trial Court with all smile. Raz expressed his his gratitude and happiness as they walk out of the court’s premises. Despite the expressed speculations of some netizens that the two might flee, their lawyer, Atty. Howard Calleja, assured the media that they would still attend the court hearings and will not flee.

Meanwhile, model Deniece Cornejo is still in Camp Crame and haven’t posted bail yet because she is still completing some of the requirements. She too expressed her gratitude and got ready to go home.

Vhong Navarro’s camp expressed their frustration and lost of faith in the court because of granting the request for bail of the accused. Atty. Alma Mallonga confirmed that they had filed motion for reconsideration and and inhibition against the resolution of the granted bail.



It was January 24,2014 when Filipinos were shocked to see the photos of the actor-host’s beaten up face after he was allegedly tied up and attacked by Lee and his group in a condominium unit in the Fort Santiago on January 22nd. As it can be remembered, Vhong’s camp issued a statement saying that he was invited by Cornejo to visit her in her condo. Navarro filed several cases including serious illegal detention, which was said to be non-bailable. Cornejo filed two cases of rape against Navarro that was both denied by the court.
