Billy Crawford was detained in Taguig Police Station 7 for ‘malicious mischief’ just a few hours after going out with girlfriend Coleen Garcia at the 8th Star Magic Ball. The incident was said to have happened at 4:00 am, Sunday, September 7. His management, ALV Management released their statement saying that the circulating rumors were unfortunate and they are hoping that Billy’s name will be cleared from the allegations through proper legal proceedings

Furthermore, they thank the police for investigating professionally. They assured the fans that Billy did not hurt anybody and they asked the media to respect his of privacy. They are also confident that the truth will be known.

According to the circulating news, Billy went to the police station with an unknown woman to file a complaint. When a police woman suggested him to be brought to the headquarters, he lost control and hit the police officer. He also allegedly hit the glass door of a precinct leading to his arrest.

The video of the It’s Showtime host’s mugshot was presented in ABS-CBN Channel 2. Also, in the DZMM interview, Billy admitted that he hit the glass door but denied hitting a woman police officer. He insisted that nobody was hurt. The actor also admitted that he himself decided to go to the precinct to calm himself after drinking alcohol. He knew that he is aggressive every time he had a drink and he would like to calm himself in the precinct to save himself from being it trouble. The real incident that led to his arrest is still yet to know.

Meanwhile, Coleen Garcia urged her followers not to believe everything they read. She said that she knew Billy won’t hurt a woman and insisted that the women who accompanied him were her close friends, making the news about an unidentified woman with Billy a rumor.
