Xian Lim, Vhong Navarro and couple Angel Locsin and Luis Manzano joined the other celebrities in answering the dare of the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. The challenge aims to promote awareness on Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease, and raise money for the research of its cure.
Xian Lim was challenged by Kenneth Yang, CEO and President of McDonald’s Philippines. Xian, the fastfood chain’s endorser, posted his video in his Instagram account. The video showed him doing the challenge in front of a McDonald’s. He challenged Adi Timbol of Golden Arches Development Corp., and Arlie Salagantin and Gidget dela Cuesta of ABS-CBN's talent management arm Star Magic.
Meanwhile, Vhong Navarro did not wait long to do the dare tagged to him by Billy Crawford. According to his posted video, he did it right after the show, It’s Showtime. It is noticeable that the iced water was not enough to get him soaked, since most of the ice was used by Vice Ganda, Billy and Coleen. He challenged John Lloyd Cruz, PBA star Arwind Santos and Robin Padilla.
