Herbert Constantine Maclang Bautista or better known as Herbert Bautista was born on May 12, 1968. He is a Filipino actor who became a politician. Herbert’s father is Herminio “Butch” Bautista who was a former politician and restaurateur. Herbert took Bachelor of Laws at New Era University but was not able to complete the course. Instead, he took another course in San Beda College Baccalaureate Degree in Philosophy and Letters. Because of his sterling example shown being a politician, Herbert was recently given a Most Outstanding Centennial Bedan Alumnus recognition.

Aside from being a politician, Herbert also appeared in several television shows such as Bistek, Haybol Rambol, Mary D’Potter, Klasmeyts, Super Inggo and Flordeluna. With regards to his movies, Herbert starred in Oh My Mama, Bagets, Jack & Jill, Ninja Kids, Dear Diary and many more. He started appearing in movies in 1981 and his most current film was on 2013 entitled Raketeros wherein he played the role Berto.

Herbert Bautista is a talented actor. In fact, he does not just fit in a single role since he can act in a comedy, action, drama, horror, etc. In 1984, Herbert Bautista won the Best Actor Award in Metro Manila Film Festival for his role in Shake, Rattle and Roll. It only shows that Herbert is more than just a leader, but also a talented actor.

One of his greatest achievements is the establishment of Quezon City Drug Treatment and Rehabilitation Center or "Tahanan" in 1990. The purpose of “Tahanan” is to give shelter to those who are undergoing Therapeutic Community Program. These people are the drug dependents. Not known to many but Herbert also joined the military and he is known as LTC Herbert Bautista (GSC) RES PA. Herbert’s current issue is with Kris Aquino wherein he admitted that he was dating with Kris. This eventually stopped afterwards.
