MOSCOW: July 18, According to Interfax report a Malaysia Airlines MH17 Boeing 777 crashes in Ukraine with 295 on board. To be specific, the said Airline were carrying 15 crew and 280 passengers that crashed in Ukraine near the country's border with Russia.

According to Mashable as they spoke with  Malaysia Airlines spokesman tells that they have no information at this time. But, according to an adviser to Interior Ministry of Ukraine the plane was brought down by a ground-to-air missile.

Malaysia Airlines has lost contact of MH17 from Amsterdam. The last known position was over Ukrainian airspace. More details to follow.
The said jet was travelling from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur when it was shot down at the Ukrainian air. According to the Malaysia Airlines, they lost contact on the said plane at around 14:15 (GMT) which is 30 kilometers from Tamak waypoint. Looking at the area, it has an approximate distance from the Russia-Ukraine border of 50 kilometers. A separatist in Ukraine that is pro-Russian is believed to have fired a missile that eventually brought down the plane killing all onboard.

Because of what happened, the UN Security Council would like to investigate through a “full, thorough, and independent international investigation.” This was reported by Reuters. Three Filipinos died in the plane crash and they belong to one family, this was confirmed by the Department of Foreign Affairs. More detailed information posted on this page.
