There is so much emotion and action on The Voice Kids with coaches Lea, Bamboo and Sarah picking who among the kids will enter their teams depending on their performances on the “Blind Audition”. This is the episode of The Voice Kids June 21, 2014 Summary.

Singing competitions will always be a part and parcel of the Filipino culture. And this is The Voice Kids Philippines that depicts how talented the Filipinos are no matter what ages. The Filipino kids are the protagonists this time showcasing their talents from blind audition to convince the judges to include them in their circles and proving themselves worthy to remain all throughout the competition. And this is more than just competition because the kids will be trained well to become a better professional someday.

The Voice Kids Episode June 21, 2014

ABS-CBN shows The Voice Kids Philippines which is based on a Dutch reality show. When The Voice of the Philippines Season 1 became popular in the country, there were so many Filipinos who supported the said show from the blind auditions to a series of “knockout” style competition of course with the coaches Bamboo, Lea Salonga, Sarah Geronimo. This time, Apple is not part of the team for The Voice Kids Philippines so the three remain the coaches. To be exact, The Voice Kids originated in the Netherlands.

Maria Diana Agustin from San Pedro Laguna was the first kid to enter one of the teams of the 2nd to the last Blind Audition of The Voice Kids. She is 11 years old and was raised by her grandmother. Diana chose coach Sarah to be her mentor.

Rein Carmelite Pineda is from Valenzuela and 11 years old
. Rein is a very simple girl from a simple family. Her father is a jeepney driver and sari-sari store owner. Some of the comments of the coaches regarding her performance and personality is that she was very disciplined. Coach Lea’s genre is opera and she could relate to Rein’s choice of music. It is her expertise. When she was asked to choose who among the two coaches who turned their chairs she would rather have as her coach, it was Coach Lea

Douglas Alabe is a British-Filipino from Iloilo
. He is 11 years and good looking. His father is in England and he is currently staying with his mother here in the Philippines. He sang “Yesterday’s Dream” and it was evident with his performance that he was hitting high notes. During his performance, the coaches were listening attentively in order to be convinced to turn their chairs. And in the end, it was coach Bamboo who made the brave decision of including him to his team – Camp Kawayan.

Katherine Medina is from Taguig
. She is one of the kids who made it to the Blind Audition of The Voice Kids. She is 14 years old and at an early age, she has this kind of struggle in life. Katherine made an excellent performance of Alicia Keys’ hit “If I Ain’t Got You” that made Coaches Bamboo and Sarah turn their chairs. And so it was up to Katherine who among the two coaches who turned their chairs will she give her fate on the competition. In the end, it was Coach Bamboo that emerged victorious.

Angel is not related to Christina Aguilera but she also has a powerful voice that made the three coaches turn their chairs in awe. Angel is 14 years old from Bacoor, Cavite. At an early age of 3 – 4 she was discovered to have a good voice as she sang through the “videoke/karaoke.” Angel’s dream aside from being a singer is to become a civil engineer someday.  She performed “Halo” which is a complicated song and the three coaches agreed to give her a chance to belong to their respective teams.
