The last but not the least kid who made it to the Blind Audition on the June 15, 2014 episode of The Voice Kids is Khen Lobaton from the City of Smiles, Bacolod City. Khen is 13 years old and a daughter of a musically inclined father. The reason for Khen’s joining The Voice Kids according to her is to help her parents. When Alex Gonzaga asked Khen at the backstage about the thing that she usually do when she is nervous, she answered “Empire State Of Mind” and that made them laugh together.

Khen performed “Empire State of Mind” that made the three coaches turn their chairs. It was Lea who turned first, followed by Bamboo and lastly, Sarah. Of the several kids who joined the blind audition for this episode, it was Khen’s part that went longer since there were so many interrogations and convincing that took place.

Khen then called Lea New York, Bamboo San Francisco and with coach Sarah, Khen asked for John Lloyd. Coach Lea called Mitoy and he went out. Mitoy was wearing a shirt with “Team Lea” printing and tried to convince Khen to join Lea’s team.

Khen then made a decision of joining Team Sarah unexpectedly that even coach Sarah could not believe. When Khen was asked what’s with John Lloyd, she answered that John Lloyd is her ultimate crush.
